Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay had a pretty tumultuous season of three hit franchises, than he fell out with Whitney Rose for that black eyes.
Now, in Bad Mormons The author seems to have let the snowflakes settle, and he reveals where he and the rest of the cast stand ahead of the fourth season.
Speaking to TV Deets, Heather explained why she wasn’t looking forward to watching it ROSLC season three reunion. In fact, he said he couldn’t get past part one.
“I wasn’t very good at the reunion,” she admitted. “And something happens after every reunion that I don’t watch. So, I received the episode like two days before it aired, and I just started watching it and it just hit me with this horrible feeling, so I just slammed it.”
Heather’s black eye storyline was teased and built up heavily this season ROSLC, but viewers can’t get the full story of what happened that led to the injury. Apparently, neither has Heather.
“True, I have explained the black eye since the day I got it as much as possible. You know, I woke up with a black eye, I have a theory that I hit the counter,” explained Heather. “Then I asked everyone to tell me that they would have footage if it happened and that footage would show how it happened. I assumed I was on television and it would reveal itself. But it never did.”
According to Heather, the whole situation began to irritate her because she felt she had no control over how the “narrative” was written.
“I started to feel uncomfortable because I felt like I was creating a narrative that I joined, but I had no memory. I was afraid to say that I had no memory because I thought he could say anything.
Heather also said that the rest of the cast didn’t come from a place of concern about the black eye, but that she thought it was a “scandalous” and “interesting” plotline to keep the show moving forward.
Going to the fourth season of ROSLCHeather said she is more than ready to welcome new cast members to the Utah slopes.
“I always say more nuts in the trail mix. It makes it better for everyone and [if the new cast members are] no one knows. They’ve robbed my friends list and we’re down to four, so I’m no longer contributing to my circle.
Season three sees “friends of” Angie Harrington receive more screen time, and with Jane Shah leaving a void in the cast, Heather thought Angie would fill the space perfectly.
“He and I are peripherally back and he’s really fun on camera. He’s really cute and funny and he’s my friend, so I’m always going to support him. I love seeing him catch snowflakes,” Heather said.
Speaking of Jen, Heather said she hasn’t spoken to her friend since she was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for wire fraud and running a telemarketing scheme. Heather said that after Jen confessed, “everything changed in our friendship.”
“He’s focused on his family and his sentence and I’m just waiting for him to compensate the victims and just to see if it’s done because there’s so much coming out that it’s hard to hear. I can only think about the victims at this time and not give them space,” explained Heather.
As for where she stands with her former best friend and cousin, Whitney, Heather said that the duo’s former friendship is “not a priority,” but she wishes her “the best.” He said Whitney “loves being a housewife” and will continue to “work hard” to stay a housewife.
Another tidbit Heather touched on was the return of the OG Mary Cosby. Heather stated that Mary “will not be in the Salt Lake City mix,” but at the time, she “couldn’t confirm or deny” Mary’s involvement in season four. However, he mentioned that Mary had been in a relationship with her friend, Meredith Signand they both say “slightly”.
It has been reported that Maryam will indeed return to ROSLC in the “friend of” role for the fourth season.
At ROSLC Reunion, Heather said she expects a lot of drama to play out between her and Whitney, Jen Shah’s guilty plea, and the wreckage that Meredith and Lisa Barlowfriendship
