Despite all the drama of Heather Gay’s black eye last season, one story is more serious – and long-lasting.
Although friends and also relatives, Heather and Whitney Rose were feuding hard during ROSLC Season 3.
The pair of fan-favorites tore viewers apart, with some just hoping that they would resolve their differences.
But Heather’s own sister weighs in — and warns Whitney that Heather will never be a true friend. Yes!

There was a time when Heather Gay and Whitney Rose had the strongest bond Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
They are close friends. He won over his fans and helped him fight several enemies on screen.
In Season 3, it all fell apart. Whitney insists Heather must confess, on screen, to a private conversation the two had off-camera about Lisa Barlow.

They both fell apart.
Ultimately, Whitney wants to mend fences and return to their old friendship.
Heather apparently didn’t. She felt like Whitney had wronged her, and was not expecting to just pick it up again like nothing happened.

ROSLC viewers will remember Nancy Meaux. In addition to being a vocal collector for last names, she is also Heather’s younger sister.
On screen, we watch as Heather and Nancy meet after twenty years of no contact.
Heather has since left the Mormon church. However, while Nancy left the controversial religious organization, Heather was still part of it. And a massive rift grew between them.

In some very public Instagram comments, Nancy is now letting her sister down.
“[Whitney] Stop waiting for Heather. Until they are useful to you, they are useless to you,” he wrote.
“Believe me, I know,” Nancy assured him. “I waited 20+ years for him, just to use him for the storyline in Vail.”

According to Nancy, “He hasn’t spoken to me since the day we filmed.”
Speaking of filming together, Nancy has seen it as a grim milestone.
“I think this is the last conversation we’ll ever have,” she said. That is very sad.

“I’m glad to see you in Vail,” Nancy told Whitney.
He concluded by saying: “I’m so sorry you finally saw the Real Heather.”
That sounds very emotional and painful. But is it true?

It’s like Nancy accused Heather of using her for a storyline and then dumped her.
We know that some reality cast members will exploit their personal relationships for on-screen drama. More often than not, we hear about people kicking their kids on camera when it’s not the parents who pretend they’re not on camera.
But maybe Heather and Nancy’s story has more nuance than that. Reunions can be painful (and not just the Bravo kind). Maybe Heather and Nancy just need more time.
