Harry Hamlin not a little angry with his wife Add Chest‘s out new from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On Friday, when he attended the premiere of his latest film, 80 for Brady, at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Harry, 71, claimed he and Lisa, 59, were both “very happy” to go on as he vowed the actress would be busy “very soon.” He also noted that his departure, which came after eight seasons, was “the right decision.”

“Oh my god, we’re so excited about it,” Harry admitted on Entertainment Tonight on Jan. 6.

“I’m sure he’ll be very busy. People have talked to him about it. He’s busy now, say that,” he teased.

“I think he took it as far as he could, and he picked up the show. Now it’s time to move on,” he explained. “Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It’s time to move on.”

And again discussing Lisa’s potential return to the screen, Harry said his wife “has been talking to the studio about doing something else.”

Lisa officially announced her exit last Thursday.

“This is the longest project I’ve done in my 35-year career, and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the series,” Lisa said in a statement to PEOPLE. “It’s been an exciting eight years, and I’m excited for what’s to come!”

Before the announcement, Harry spoke to the same outlet, admitting that when it comes to Lisa’s behavior in RHOBAhe often gets into trouble.

“He did his job. His job is to show up on time, to interact with people on the show in an honest and authentic way,” he told PEOPLE. “His hot button issue, I think, is not being fair, or if other people don’t act honestly, he will call. And that gets him into a lot of trouble. But it also helps the show.
