Harry Hamlin caught revealing the real reason behind Add Chestout of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at the Sundance Film Festival Creative Coalition and Entertainment Weekly Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner, Saturday.
When attending an event with his eldest daughter, 24 years old Delilah Belle HamlinHarry was reportedly overheard speaking to a group of friends about Lisa’s decision to leave the Bravo series after eight seasons, revealing that her former co-star and friend played a major role.
According to a report from Page Six on January 23rd, Harry claimed Lisa left the show after viewers got involved Sutton Strake in the middle of the month-long Elton John fight gala. As RHOBA Fans will recall that Sutton accused Lisa and Harry of being ungrateful for buying them tickets to the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party in 2019 during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in 2021.
“Lisa has all the receipts for the night, but she never showed the receipts at the reunion,” a witness who overheard her say, stating that IMDb had provided tickets for her and Lisa. “He would still be on the show if Sutton didn’t say it. He might still be on the show, but the audience believed Sutton.
Although Lisa reportedly took issue with the receipt she was left out of season 12 Reunion, Harry said his wife of 25 years is satisfied with his decision to walk away.
“All good things come to an end. He took it as far as he could,” he said, according to the insider. “Now I’m working like crazy so he doesn’t have to work.”
According to Lisa, who shared an email from IMDb several months ago on Instagram, she and Harry got tickets from IMDb but decided to sit with her friend Sutton after she requested them.
After last year’s reunion aired, after Lisa claimed that receipts were left behind, Andy Cohen told the manila envelope on the radio show, saying that the package Lisa brought contained “receipts related to Elton John AIDS Foundation tickets.”
“We just cut it all out,” he said. “There were a lot of decisions made in the edit to reduce a lot of the conversation.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production later this month.
