Kamala Harris visited a high school in rural Georgia today and gave an inspirational talk to students. JD Vance flunked a donut shop visit. Like all of her interactions with people, Kamala talked to members of this Georgia high school band with intelligence, respect, and inspiration. She is a skilled communicator and as the above image shows, is positive and joyous when talking about America and her plan to serve the country and it’s people. She doesn’t spend her time on camera personally attacking her opponents. However, she does not hold back on informing Americans that the Republicans vision for America is anti- freedom. anti- democracy, anti- civility and regressive not progressive. Harris is too mature and classy to talk about Trump’s excessively long ties, obsession with tanning, and hair.
JD Vance did not appear joyful or comfortable when talking to the employees at the Holts Sweet Shop in Georgia. Vance seemed uncomfortable, and the workers were unimpressed. His social-verbal skills were far below those of Kamala Harris. He was trying to connect, but it came across as awkward. He asked the workers how long the store had been open and how long they had worked there. However, answers to those questions were brief and did not facilitate an ongoing dialogue. For example, asking questions requiring explanations or narratives can show more interest and engage more people. He could have asked them to explain a typical workday, including tasks and examples of the funniest or most difficult customer encounters. He could have also shared the kind of jobs he had in the past to increase relatability. He is socially awkward and, therefore, on the campaign trail, relies on nastiness and arrogance to facilitate communication.
Real men of all races, all ages, and social statuses are excited to vote for Kamala Harris. They are not intimidated by her skills and accomplishments. They are secure within themselves, see women as equals, and can recognize and embrace when a woman has superior skills and can rise above him. Men who have toxic masculinity are not secure, confident, or comfortable with women who surpass their accomplishments. The Harris/Walz ticket is uniting healthy men and women in their mutual goal to save democracy and return America to its pre-MAGA, proud status. Trump and Vance embody a negative view of women, America, and anyone but themselves. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK!
