Hailey Bieber looking back at her main health scare on the one year anniversary.
The 26-year-old model took to Instagram Storiess Friday night to mark the first anniversary of her “life-changing” medical emergency that led to the discovery that she had a patent foramen ovale – a heart condition in which there is a hole between the left and right sides of the heart. Sharing a video in which she opened up about her terrifying experience, Hailey wrote:
“Can’t believe it’s been a year since I had the mini-stroke that led to the PFO diagnosis. Since this is the one-year mark of a life-changing event, I want to share all the information I’ve learned about PFO and share resources to donate.

He then shared some other facts about PFO from UCLA Health, is among the “most common congenital heart defects” and affects “20% of all people.” Ch-ch-check (below):
As you may recall, Biebers had some serious medical issues last year – as his wife Justin Bieber diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. Meanwhile, Hailey was hospitalized and underwent heart surgery after experiencing stroke-like symptoms in early 2022. “The biggest thing I feel is that I’m relieved to have it all figured out, if I can get closure, I’ll be able to move on from this scary situation and just live.”
Earlier this year, Hailey revealed that she has been struggling with PTSD since suffering a mini-stroke. He told the Run-Through with Vogue podcasts:
“I struggled with anxiety after. I struggled with a little PTSD, like, fear of it happening again. It was just a feeling that I, like, I didn’t want to experience again. It was so scary, so jarring, so discombobulating in every way you can imagine.
But the star noted:
“I look back and it could have been worse. So many worse things could have happened at that time.
