Erling Haaland made history when he scored a stunning five goals to lead Manchester City to a stunning win over RB Leipzig, securing a place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Norwegian sensation currently holds the record as the youngest and fastest player to reach 30 goals in Europe’s top club competition.

Haaland’s incredible feat also made him the youngest player to score five goals in a single Champions League game, a feat previously only achieved by Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.

The win took Haaland’s tally for the season to 39 goals in all competitions, becoming the first City player to achieve this in a single campaign. Furthermore, his five hat-tricks this season are three more than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
