Gwendlyn Brown’s fiance had something to say about her future son-in-law.
In a new YouTube video, Beatriz Queiroz never holds back when she describes the patriarch of Sister Wives, who has been dumped by three spiritual couples over the past year.
“Kody is an interesting character. He’s energetic and fun. He’s a fun person,” Queiroz said while sitting next to Kody’s daughter this week.
“I just, sometimes when he says some things, I don’t like it.”
What does that mean, exactly?
“I don’t like the way he talks to you,” she told Gwendlyn, whose mother, Christine, left Kody in November 2021.
“He’s really fun. I really like Kody,”
“He’s really fun. I really like Kody,” added Gwendlyn.
“I don’t think he knows how to speak respectfully to some of his family members – and above all, I’d really like someone to speak politely.”
Gwendyn has been very honest about her parents lately.
In December, she spoke candidly about her reaction after her mother told her she was leaving her father.
“I was like, you go? Good for you!” Brown said this month in a YouTube video, recounting how his mother broke the news to him:
“He told me that he moved and also divorced my father at the same time. I was all hyped for him. Obviously I love him and I always visit him.
“But he came home and I like him. I didn’t like the relationship and he’s doing great now.
Queiroz – who got engaged to the reality star in December – also opened up on Valentine’s Day about adjusting to being part of Gwendlyn’s polygamous family.
“It’s harder to reach everyone because there are so many,” he said.
“And I’m used to a very close family and my memory isn’t great, so remembering all their names and stuff, it’s really hard.”
Last week, Gwendlyn discussed the estrangement between her father and some of her 18 children in a separate YouTube video.
“He’s really changed,” Gwendlyn said of her father.
“The reason I think they’re starting to change is because kids used to be young and easy to manipulate and I think it’s easier to talk to them. [back then]. We were not of the same opinion.
“Now, we are adults and we have opinions,” he continued.
“We have mature minds and we have things we do as adults and I think it’s easier to talk to [us] when we disagree.”
Back in January, Gwendlyn further developed her relationship with Kody after splitting with her mother, Christine.
“It’s very flip-floppy for me. Personally, my father is sweet to me now,” he said at the time.
“We had differences in the past, but we are improving and because we are not related, we cannot be too angry.”
He added, in a clear way:
“But when I watch the episodes, I tend not to like them.”
