Sister Wife‘ Gwendlyn Brown called his father Kody Brown for – total shocker – his father is absent!
As you know, polygamy has 18 children with four different women, and over the course of TLC series which has been criticized for playing favorites with Robyn Brown and, later, his children. Well, now Gwendlyn – the daughter of Christine Brown – talking about how he was a child. Spoiler alert: they don’t like it very much!

In new Youtube In a video he posted over the weekend, the 18-year-old responded to a clip of Kody spending time with his two youngest children. After seeing how the patriarch interacts with them, he explains how “it hurts” that he does not receive the same treatment:
“I know I’m supposed to like him, but seeing him like an active father with these kids hurts. Ugh, can’t see him. It’s terrible that I’m making this about me, but it hurts to see him be such a good father for other people when I’m, like, not getting much.
He explained that he had no ill will towards his brothers, but the jealousy was still there:
“I know I have to like him and I, I’m very happy that he has a good father, or what looks like a good father and an active father.”
How can he not feel the change??
The teenager went on to talk about his childhood and how Kody treated his youngest children. He choked up when he explained that he didn’t get much parenting from his father – only his mother:
“I just don’t know and I don’t remember. I don’t remember when I came home from kindergarten and saw my father and he was happy that I ate all my lunch or that I made friends at school. It must have been my mother – and it was great, I was very happy to have him – but never my father and it’s not fun when he’s not there.
Gwendlyn loved her siblings more than anything, and still “deserved” every bit of attention she received:
“[They’re] sweet, good brother who deserves the most love, the kindest father in the whole world. I’m just glad he can have it, even if I can’t.
So sad…

We’re glad Gwendlyn has her mom to give her the love she deserves. When you have a lot of kids – and you’re playing favorites – it’s no wonder some people feel left out and neglected. There is never enough time to be a good father to these kids! correct?
