Kody Brown has a well-documented and well-recognized relationship with his sons.
But the patriarch of the Sister Wives also wanted to check what was going on between him and a certain daughter.
Over the past few weeks, Gwendlyn Brown – the 21-year-old daughter of Christine and Kody – has used her YouTube page to call out various members of her polygamous family.
Especially his terrible father.
Before that, Gwen dumped Kody because she loved Robyn more than anyone else and didn’t care about anyone else’s feelings.
Now, he has uploaded a new YouTube video that he uploaded in response to footage from Sister Wives Season 17 featuring Meri stating that she is staying in platonic marriages in hopes of reconciliation.
Kody, though?
He said on air that he no longer considered himself married to Meri.
“It’s unfortunate that my father didn’t understand how he and Meri had this relationship,” Gwen told the audience.
“[Meri] don’t know that. They didn’t have a conversation about it.
“And I think that’s what’s so important about what my mom did with him, because she said, ‘It’s over.’
“He told me he was done and Kody hadn’t done anything.”
This is an accurate description of how Meri and Kody play.
Meri is shown a clip in the Season 17 special one-on-one of Kody stating that he thinks his marriage to her is over, and she reacts with shock and disappointment.
The former spouses began to end their romantic relationship.
“It felt so manipulative to me because he really didn’t keep this information from her and allowed her to be in this loveless relationship with the false hope that it would be fixed,” Gwendlyn said on YouTube.
What the eff has her father even thought about the last time, Gwen asked.
“What’s the point of him staying with all these women? Does he think they’re evil?” he wondered aloud.
“Do they think they are the way to heaven?
“I don’t know why he felt such a great need to stay with her. And I’m glad that the people who needed to get out of that situation, got out of that situation.
As mentioned above, Kody and Meri are no longer married.
Janelle Brown also announced her split from Kody during the special in December.
Christine, on leaving plural marriage in 2021… is very happy with her decision… and even has a new boyfriend.
