Gwendlyn Brown is back with another candid take on her famous father.
Or perhaps he was atfamous father, we have to write.
For the past few weeks, the 21-year-old daughter of Kody and Christine Brown has been using her YouTube channel to make her father happy.
Back in December, he even joked that he thanked his parents for splitting up because he was famous.
Since then, Gwendlyn has used this popularity to take Sister Wives fans behind the scenes.
On Friday, for example, the occasional reality star had an emotional reaction to the televised moment (which aired in Season 17) that featured Kody welcoming his youngest children – Ariella and Solomon, who he shares with Robyn – home from their first day of school . .
“It’s terrible that I make this about me, but it hurts a lot to see someone be a good father to others when I don’t really ask for that much,” said Gwendlyn in response when the fight returned to tears last week.
“I’m very happy that he has a good father or something like being a good father and an active father.”
Brown previously said Kody “picked” Robyn over other family members.
At this point, of course, Robyn is Kody’s only wife… because Christine threw her selfish back in November 2021; Janelle did the same just over a year later; and Meri was actually forced to walk away from her spiritual husband just this past January.
“I don’t remember coming home from kindergarten or anything and seeing my dad being happy that I ate all my lunches, or that I made friends at school, [it] always be my mom,” Gwen continued in her latest YouTube video.
About the Sister Wives scene and the special Robyn kids?
“It’s true that he’s not there, but I like him,” he added.
Kody has retracted the following statement for some time, but almost all Sister Wives viewers believe that he has loved Robyn more than any other woman in his life.
This favoritism clearly had an impact on Gwendlyn.
He said a few months ago that he was not “really [doesn’t] like she is a person” when a follower brought up the topic of Robyn during a Q&A.
Earlier this month, Gwendlyn said her father abused her.
“I remember personally being bruised a few times [when] my father would spank me,” Brown admitted, adding that his father would sometimes punish him by throwing him into the air.
Last year, to be fair, Gwndlyn exercise at least let the public know that Kody may have learned a thing or two since the cameras stopped rolling in Season 17.
“He’s really healing and I’m so proud of him,” she said.
Gwendlyn sums it up:
“I think that if he has many wives and forces himself to believe in things that he doesn’t want to, he becomes a very unhappy and unhappy person.
“But they are really healing.
“He’s getting better.”
