Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) was booed Tuesday after she vowed to “never attend the World Economic Forum.”
The far-right congressman’s promise to avoid the annual meeting of world leaders and prominent business executives in Davos, Switzerland, drew the attention of Twitter users, who suggested he should not be invited in the first place.
Earlier this week, the Forum was forced to deny the billionaire owner of Twitter and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, that he refused a request to attend, explaining that he was last invited in 2015.
Many of Boebert’s detractors responded by promising things he would never do, from dating music icon Beyoncé to attending Hogwarts.
