Real Housewives of Potomac star, Gizelle Bryanthas found herself in hot water after she made what many Housewives fans called “ignorant” and culturally insensitive comments towards her. Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip costars season 3, Marysol Patton and Alexia Echevarriato say “Spanglish” during RHUGT‘s premiere episode last week.
During the episode in question, Marysol and Alexia, spoke Spanish in the presence of Gizelle’s leading RHOP star to try and implement the “No Spanish” rule because he doesn’t want to feel “left out” of the conversation because he doesn’t speak the language.
Real Housewives of Miami the stars explained to Gizelle that speaking in her native tongue and “Spanglish” was not meant to exclude her, or anyone else for that matter, because that’s how she speaks naturally in Miami and doesn’t realize that she does most of it. time.
Needless to say, Gizelle’s comments did not go down well with her fans.

When others called Gizelle out for her tone-deaf and “disruptive” behavior.
“It’s a little disturbing that @GizelleBryant would try to silence #Marysol & #Alexia for speaking her native language, Spanish. Doesn’t she know her history of bigotry?! Shame on her!! #RHUGT3 #RHOP.”
Many fans expressed their disappointment in Gizelle’s comments and added that as a minority, they should have known better.
“Oh no, @GizelleBryant you DO NOT tell people not to speak Spanish. Do you know how Latinos have been discriminated against for centuries and here you are doing the same? girl! With your civil rights background I expect more from you .You owe me some apologies! #RHOP #RHUGT,” another viewer criticized.
At the time of writing this post, Alexia or Marysol, has made a public comment on Gizelle’s comment.
