Real Housewives of Potomac star, Gizelle Bryanthas been spilling all his thoughts and feelings about his Bravo castmates during season 7 of the show as he breaks it all down in a new and open interview.
Speaking to Today, Gizelle immediately stepped in and signed her costar, Wendy Osefoand point blank said he was “no longer interested” in continuing his friendship with Wendy as the two could not find common ground.
“For me, just talking to people like that. I always wanted to be able to talk to women, and he couldn’t do it. So, I wasn’t interested anymore. So, when he came to me, at the beginning of the season, I was just like, yes, no, and goodbye,” said Gizelle.
Season 7 of RHOP has also seen Gizelle and Candiace Dillard Bassett struggling to make eye contact after Gizelle said that her husband Candiace, Chris Bassettmade her “unfair” after coming to her dressing room afterwards RHOP season 6 reunion.
Candiace has claimed that Gizelle has lied and exaggerated the incident to smear her and Chris’ name.
“Because I know Candiace is very sensitive, and she can be a bit dramatic, I was very careful about choosing my words with her. At that time she and I were friends. So, I would not say anything that would be very inflammatory and hurt her, but he took another piece of crap.
Gizelle says she doesn’t regret talking about the situation and won’t apologize.
The two are no longer friends, according to Gizelle as she insists Candiace “always wants to be the victim.”
“We are no longer friends, so I don’t need to hold anything back. What happened, happened, and it was unfortunate, and no one will tell you how to feel in such a situation.
In fact, Gizelle believes that Candiace saw what happened between her and Chris for the storyline and attacked her as a form of “deflection”.
“I think they’ve taken the position of, ‘Oh, I’m just going to deflect, I’m going to talk about Gizelle and try to destroy Gizelle,’ instead of talking to your husband. Why would your wife even do that? Let’s start there,” Gizelle said before continuing, “Of course, you know, they want to create a story. It might be dead because of a simple conversation, but they want to create a story. They want to do this throughout the season. They want to take all of this to ‘Girls Trip,’ which they did.”
Gizelle also took time to speak with her fellow Green-Eyed Bandit and costar, Robin Dixon’ss, different attitudes in his situation with Chris and Candiace. Robyn has made it clear that she doesn’t think Chris has any bad intentions for his actions, and Gizelle respects that.
“Robyn has the right to his opinion. I don’t want people to just side with me because we’re friends. I do it for people, but it’s just not necessary. I’m an adult, and I’m confident and safe enough and can speak for myself that’s not necessary, ” he said.
Drama aside, Gizelle set Bravo fans into a frenzy after a video caught her and Winter House star Jason Cameronin what appears to be a date.
According to Gizelle, it is “definitely a date” and organized by the costar Ashley Darby and then-beautiful season housewhich, Luke Gulbranson.
“He’s a great guy, and we love him,” Gizelle told Today.
Season 7 of RHOP also saw the introduction of a new “friend”. Mia Thornton, Jacqueline Blake. He has been quite involved so far with his and Mia’s alleged sexual escapades. It may have been too much for Mia, though, as Gizelle revealed the two had fallen out after last week’s episode saw Mia accuse Jacqueline of sleeping with a married man.
“We all love Jacqueline, so Mia can date her, it’s like, you bring her here, this is your girlfriend of 30 years. It’s just kind of unfortunate. At least I wish they’d done it right on camera, because it looks really bad, Bryant said. “From what I understand, he’s still not doing well until now.”
There were only a few episodes before that RHOP Head to the reunion, and Gizelle leaves fans with some hot takes.
He said the MVP of the season was Ashely who “does the most” and is “everywhere.” Gizelle also said that the season’s conclusion will be “fire” and it is Karen huge have some “‘splainin’ to do.”
At the end of the interview, Gizelle revealed what she liked most about the show was the “dysfunctional” siblings.
“I love that we try to protect each other, but throw each other under the bus,” he joked.
