Gia Giudice and Hudson McLeroy addressed the claim that Gia caused his breakup with Ariana Biermann. Meanwhile, Ariana shared if her mom Kim Zolciak played a role in the split – and revealed if she’s still giving Kim money.

After Ariana and Hudson broke up in October of last year, many rumors began circulating about why they split. One rumor alleged that Gia somehow caused it. Another was that Kim played a role. (Last season on Next Gen NYC, Ariana shared that Hudson was unhappy that Ariana would send money to Kim amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann.)

On Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice, Hudson shared that the “biggest rumor” was that Gia “caused the breakup.”

“Yeah, I know,” said Gia, as both she and Hudson started laughing.

“We can put that to rest right here, right now,” said Hudson.

“I think it was TMZ that said, like, ‘Gia Giudice breaks up Hudson and Ariana,’” Gia added.

Later on, Gia asked how Hudson felt about their costars questioning his relationship with Ariana. “The two people that were talking about it, I didn’t care much about their opinions,” Hudson answered, seemingly referring to Ava Dash and Georgia McCann – who questioned if they split as a storyline for the show.

As for why they broke up, Hudson shared, “I just got so comfortable with our relationship that I stopped growing. I stopped becoming the man I needed to become. Right when we broke up, that’s when the business started. I started doing serious therapy once, twice, maybe even three times a week, depending on how my week was going.”

On Next Gen NYC After Show, Ariana addressed the rumor that her mom played a role in the split.

“Everybody said that Hudson was giving my mom money. Which I literally would never ever allow that to happen,” said Ariana. “Any money that my mom was ever receiving was always from me.”

“Hudson would of course help my mom out, had I ever asked,” she went on. “I never would ask him. That is not his job in any capacity, nor his family’s job.”

But Gia said Hudson “made it seem like maybe he did help out Kim.”

“He got frustrated that I was finally making money, and like able to support myself, and at a place where the money was going to my bank account, and he was frustrated for me to have to help my mom out,” clarified Ariana. “When he [said last season], ‘Your parents took all of your money, why are you helping your mom out?’ [He meant] like, not, ‘Why are you?’ But, ‘You need to not be doing that … because like, you need to keep your own money. She can support herself.’”

Ariana then recalled when her mom asked for money.

“My mom was asking me to send her some money, and she was drinking a bottle of [Antinori] Tignanello at dinner that night that she asked me to send her whatever it was,” said the star. “And I was like, ‘What the f—k? Why are you drinking a bottle of Tignanello. That’s a $300 bottle of wine.’ But again, she was with her friends, and like her friends got the bottle of wine, whatever. … It’s like, I’m never going to say no to my mom. She’s my mom. … She had a f—king tough a—s three years [with her divorce]. It’s been terrible.”

“Thankfully, my mother is making money, and does not need my help [now],” she explained. “She’s doing a lot of stuff.”
