Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari rejoins Red Star Belgrade on loan

Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has rejoined Red Star Belgrade, signing a one-year loan deal with an option to buy that brings him back to a club he openly describes as “home.”

Bukari said he had been waiting for this moment since January and admitted that seeing the stadium, coaching staff and familiar faces again made him “really happy” to be back.

He explained why Red Star holds a special place in his career, pointing to the club’s culture, people and playing style, as well as the profile of players they target. “Red Star is home for me. I spent two years here and I can’t forget the moments I experienced,” he said, adding that those memories convinced him to return.

Bukari also set out clear ambitions for his second spell in Belgrade. He stressed that his mission at the club was not finished and that he wants to make fans happy, enjoy his football, play again in the UEFA Champions League and fight to win both the league and cup.

“Buka is back,” he told supporters, promising to help them relive the joyful European nights they shared before.
