Ghanaian teenager Elisha Boateng signs professional contract with MK Dons
Ghanaian teenager Elisha Boateng has signed a professional contract with Milton Keynes Dons ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The newly promoted League One club confirmed the development while announcing their retained list and new professional contracts following the end of the season.
Boateng, who plays as a right-back, has been rewarded after progressing through the club’s academy system and is regarded as one of the promising young players at Stadium MK.
In a statement, MK Dons confirmed that Boateng would join the club’s development group for next season alongside four other academy players.
“Milton Keynes Dons can now reveal which players have been retained following the conclusion of the 25/26 season,” the club said.
“First Professional Contracts and joining the Development Group for 26/27: Elisha Boateng, Hayden Boyce, Brooklyn Kazungu, Rian Silver and Damerai Singh-Hurditt.”
Born in Ghana and raised in the United Kingdom, the 18-year-old has continued to develop steadily within the MK Dons academy setup.
Boateng is expected to continue his progress with the development squad as he pushes for an opportunity in senior football.
