Gavin Newsom Uses Hegseth’s ‘No Fat Troops’ Decree To Mock Trump

“Frankly, it’s tiring to look out at combat formations — or really, any formation — and see fat troops,” Hegseth griped to the military leaders before going in for the kill. “Likewise, it’s completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon, and leading commands around the country and the world.”

Hegseth said that, moving forward, American combat forces will be required to do “real hard” physical training every day, meet height and weight requirements, and undergo two tests each year to ensure they are up to what he called the “highest male standard.”

Unfortunately for Hegseth, his tough talk backfired almost immediately when the California governor responded with an unflattering photo of Trump.

“I guess the Commander in Chief needs to go!” Newsom wrote.

Newsom also mocked Trump via his press office X account ― where he and his social media team imitate the president’s all-caps, unhinged and unabashedly insulting social media style.

And yes, Newsom resorted to even more fat-shaming by posting an image of drones carrying McDonald’s bags with an AI-altered version of Trump eating fast food in the foreground.

“IT’S COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE TO SEE A FAT COMMANDER IN CHIEF IN THE HALLS OF THE WHITE HOUSE!” the post reads.
