Power couples have the ability to capture the imagination of the masses — and California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) pick is, uh, certainly doing that.
On Sunday, the White House churned out yet another propaganda post on X, formerly Twitter, of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump holding hands while walking down a red carpet swarmed by photographers and military personnel.
“America’s power couple. 🦅🇺🇸” the caption read.
So, soon after the White House published its tomfoolery regarding the Trumps, Newsom decided to respond by simply posting a photo of the power couple that Americans truly can’t stop talking about: Trump and the late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.
X users agreed that Trump and Epstein were a much more intriguing pair than Trump and the first lady, and Newsom couldn’t help but highlight that point in a follow-up post.
On Monday, Newsom posted side-by-side photos showing that his post about Trump and Epstein received 151K likes in comparison to the White House’s photo of the Trumps, which only received 40K likes.
“the internet knows who the real power couple is,” the caption reads.
