Gate.io Debit Card To Push Adoption
Gate Group plans to open the card with the support of the Lithuanian company Gate Global UAB. According to a Twitter poststhe card will allow users to complete crypto-to-fiat conversions for online and in-store purchases.
This will make the process faster and more secure, allowing holders to shop at up to 80 million Visa-supported merchants worldwide. Also, users can control their spending with a card app that offers user-friendly features to manage and track expenses while traveling.
While writing about the latest development, Founder and CEO of Gate Group, Dr. Lin Han, states that the card will allow Gate.io users to make easy crypto payments to thousands of merchants around the world. He further emphasized that the card bridges the gap between crypto and the daily life of users, promoting greater financial inclusion for them.
Head of Crypto at Visa, Cuy Sheffield, stated that Visa aims to connect the crypto ecosystem to a global network of merchants and financial institutions.
He also noted that the Gate Visa debit card will allow users to use their digital assets anywhere Visa is accepted globally. Sheffield also shared a post on Twitter that reiterated that Visa is to support crypto industry.
