Below Deck: Fraser Olender Responds to Camille Lamb's Shooting, As Katie Glaser Talks Friendship With Ex-Stew

Next Camilla Lamb fired by Captain Sandy Yawn in last week’s episode of Below Deckchief cook Fraser Creatures revealed how he really felt seeing his former co-star walk the plank.

When you look at it Watch What Happens LiveFraser told the host Andy Cohen he has no regrets about bringing Camille’s controversial behavior and subpar work ethic to Captain Sandy’s attention.

“It had to be done,” Fraser said, and he was glad Sandy was there to encourage him to make the tough decision.

“I’m so glad that someone is helping me, and I need that support,” he said. “I needed him to kick me and tell me to stop being so nice and get things done.”

Camille’s dismissal was preceded by a series of unprofessional events and questionable behavior – in particular, the constant internal conflict between Camille and her colleagues. Alyssa Humber.

When asked by Andy why he didn’t deal with the ongoing conflict straight away, Fraser said it was “not appropriate” because he had “a job to do.” He also explained that he didn’t know how they were able to communicate.

“I’ve had a lot going on, and I don’t see the problem – childish behavior that can’t get along – [it wasn’t] it is appropriate that I have work to do,” he replied.

Of course not WWHL appear without a dose of shade. When asked what makes Camille so good, Fraser replied, “She looks great.”

While Fraser may not be sad for Camille to die St. DavidCamille’s bunkmate, deckhand Katie Glaser, said that she and Camille were best friends and she was bummed to see her go.

“The second he walked in, I was already in the room, and he walked in, and we clicked right away,” Katie told ShowBiz CheatSheet.

Katie explained, telling the outlet that she considers Camille her “best friend throughout the season” from Below Deck and the two still have a “strong bond” to this day.

“He lives like five minutes away from me. So we’ve always had a fun vibe throughout the whole thing and still do,” Katie said.

According to Camille, the feeling was mutual.

“Katie lives down the street from me and she’s been a good friend to me, like after the show,” Camille previously told CheatSheet. “He is a very good person. And we agree in the sense that we are big, big personalities.

“She is definitely, the woman-wise one I bonded to most on the boat,” Camille concluded.
