But when talking about what the term “woke” means on Monday, host Dana Perino seemed to suggest that it’s indeterminable.

Perino said those who admired Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign of “political correctness” destroying America “know what he means,” even though the definition of political correctness may not exist.
So “woke” is “like the Supreme Court’s definition of pornography: you know it when you see it,” Perino continued. “So the Democrats want to get you in an argument where you have to define woke-ism as if Webster’s Dictionary defines it. And it’s not.”
“It can be a feeling. It can be a taste. And I wonder if Republicans or conservatives should define more,” he added.
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary has several definitions of “woke” – from “conscious and active attention to important social facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice)” to “politically liberal (as in matters of racial and social justice) especially in a manner deemed unreasonable or extreme.
