Americans who want Trump to become president are inviting Putin into our political system. They are naively inspired by the false promises strongmen leaders make. Leaders like Putin and Trump promise to economically elevate the lives of lower income, under educated people in order to gain their trust and support to keep them in power. Trump has embarrassingly kissed up to Putin and shown admiration for him on the world stage for years. He likes Russian invasions. He likes retribution against political opponents. He likes the ability for the leader of a country to get rich off of corruptive practices. He likes taking away individual freedoms from non-white people, women, and the LGBTQ community. Like Putin, Trump likes the protection from criminal prosecution that a dictatorship provides. He loves power and enjoys controlling people by spreading conspiracy theories, lying, gaslighting and fear- mongering. Putin wants Trump to be the President of the United States.

HAVE THEY READ ENOUGH HISTORY TO KNOW PUTIN HAS BEEN ONE OF THE GREATEST ENEMIES TO THE UNITED STATES FOR DECADES? IT’S IRONIC THAT TRUMP, THE MASTER GASLIGHTER, HAS BEEN GASLIGHTED BY PUTIN TO BELIEVE HE WAS A GREAT PRESIDENT FOR AMERICA.

Another favorite dictator he admires is Hungary’s right-wing Prime Minister Victory Orban, who has “championed conservative values, wiped gender studies from university curriculums, built a border fence to keep out refugees from war-torn Syria and elsewhere and written Christian values into the constitution. He has gerrymandered electoral laws grossly in his favour. Having packed the courts and the media with his allies, he controls Hungary’s institutions.” ( The Economist, Aug. 04, 2022). Does this sound familiar? It seems the only reading Trump does is studying the playbook of dictators. ONCE HE IS NOMINATED, AMERICANS WHO ARE NOT UNDER HIS ANTI-AMERICAN SPELL WILL BEGIN A CAMPAIGN OF DEMONSTRATIONS, MARCHES,  BILLBOARD ERECTING, AND MEDIA COVERAGE TO EXPOSE THE MISOGYNY, NAZISM, BIGOTRY, POLITICAL VIOLENCE, AND ANTI-DEMOCRACY GOALS THAT DEFINES MAGA MOVEMENT LED BY TRUMP.
