
Flavio Hlabangwane, the man accused of killing his girlfriend and storing her body parts in a refrigerator, has been found guilty of premeditated murder, dismemberment of a corpse and defeating the ends of justice.
The Johannesburg High Court, sitting in Palm Ridge, handed down its verdict on Tuesday.
Hlabangwane was seen in tears in court on Tuesday when Judge Cassim Ismail Moosa delivered the verdict.

Hlabangwane is expected to present his own evidence and witnesses before sentencing.
The trial will continue on February 10.
