The former Teenage Mother 2 star facing criminal charges after he was arrested after a situation of alleged domestic violence last week in Florida.
Nathan Griffithwho used to star in hits MTV share and share son with ex Jenelle Evans, was arrested on charges of domestic battery in Delray Beach, Florida on Friday. He is accused of strangling his girlfriend, according to information first reported TMZ.

A police affidavit in the case shows police in Delray Beach responded to a domestic disturbance call on Friday. The call was reported by Nathan’s brother, William. On the phone, William told the operator that Nathan called and said he was “missing”. Nathan apparently told William that he allegedly started choking his girlfriend before dragging her upstairs to the house.
When Nathan suddenly hung up the phone, William texted his girlfriend – who has not been identified by media reports – asking if she was safe. When she answered “no,” William immediately called the police.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene, and confronted Nathan. There, every TMZ, he was called “uncooperative.” The former reality TV star even said police said William was “on drugs” and not a reliable source. However, the officer dug a little deeper and questioned the boyfriend as well. He also saw several scratches on Nathan’s neck and back. Griffith tried to claim the same sex, but the police pressed more.
According to the docs, police officers believed the girl had “recently” cried. That adds to his concern as well. He noted that they were also “uncooperative” at first. However, he did not last long, as he said Nathan was “aggressive” with him. He declined to give specifics, though. However, he told police he “blacked out” during the ordeal. The media organization noted that the police could not determine whether they meant the incident as part of a strangulation or not.

However, later in the report, the police noted that the woman finally shouted:
“I’m 100 some pounds and he’s 250, how can I beat him.”
Wow…
That’s when, the affidavit states, the officers began to notice “bruising on the neck” beginning to appear. So, he chose to hold Griffith on the spot. He was arrested and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. according to peoplehe is still held in Palm Beach County Jail without binding.
Griffith and Evans had a very tumultuous relationship Teenage Mother 2 back when he appeared with her between 2013 and 2015. There were fiery fights, cheating allegations, and the engagement was finally called off to end it all. Of course, the two are forever linked even after their split – as they share an 8-year-old son together Kaiser together.
Nathan is married to May Oyola last year, but it has reportedly soured between the two since then. It’s unclear if (or when) they divorced amid reports of what happened to this unnamed boyfriend.
