FC Koper strengthen defence with signing of Giuseppe Agyemang

Slovenian side FC Koper have completed the signing of Italian-Ghanaian defender Giuseppe Agyemang on a two-year contract following his departure from Novara.

The 24-year-old arrives with valuable experience in Italy’s lower divisions and is expected to add depth and versatility to Koper’s back line.

Agyemang spent the previous campaign with Novara in Serie C, where he established himself as a dependable option at left-back. Comfortable in advanced wide positions as well, his athleticism and attacking instincts have been notable features throughout his career.

Before his spell at Novara, the defender represented Ancona, Imolese, Lentigione and Bologna’s youth setup, steadily building experience across the Italian football pyramid. His development and consistency have now earned him a fresh challenge in Slovenia.

Koper welcomed their new recruit with the message, “Welcome to Koper,” as supporters look forward to seeing him in the famous yellow and blue colours. The club will hope Agyemang’s arrival strengthens their ambitions for the upcoming season.
