FBNBank ended 2022 on a high note with special celebratory activities, award receptions and brand-sponsored events that were the main highlights that filled customers, clients and other stakeholders with hopes and expectations as we enter the new year, 2023.

For FBNBank, the month of December, in particular, was filled with exciting activities starting with the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols organized by the Bank’s employees, sponsors Pellafest, the Acapella festival and the “Samini Experience Festival II” featuring the Bank’s Product Ambassadors and a visit to the Orphanage Royal Seed in Papaase. Amid these activities, the Bank also received awards for Commercial Banking and Small and Medium Enterprise Banking. The Nine Lessons and Carols Festival, featured performances by employees including Frank Akuamoah, Music Kautaman Terui, Linda Goraseh and the delightful Staff Choir, Angelic Voices of FBNBank, who gave renditions of popular Christmas and Gospel songs. There is also Dulcet, a choral group that composes melodious music and the employees cheer. Pellafest Christian Music Festival is organized by United Praise in partnership with FBNBank, and lives up to its billing. This event of praise, worship, prayer and thanksgiving is in its fourth year, and attracts many visitors to the National Theater in Accra including Bank customers, clients and employees who use the opportunity to renew their faith and hope in Jesus Christ. . The theme for the 2022 event is “The Coming King.”

Bank Product Ambassador, Samini, once again established her credentials as a force to be reckoned with on the music scene with the second Samini Experience Concert that left customers and everyone in attendance asking for more. With a repertoire that appeals to both the young and the old generation, Samini delighted the audience and set the tone for even greater expectations for the 2023 edition.

The bank, in December, also received two awards. “Best Commercial Banking Brand” and “Best SME Banking Brand” at the 2022 Global Brand Awards Ceremony held at Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah-Waldorf. The crescendo for FBNBank in December 2022 which is filled with activities, is a visit to the Royal Seed House in Papaase on Kasoa-Bawjiase Road in the Central Region. Cash and food items worth thousands of Ghana cedis were given to children at Royal Seed Home as part of the employees’ year-end activities. The home has a total population of 150 children aged 6 months to 19 years. The Staff and Management of FBNBank add to this goodwill as a donation to support the Home during the festive season.
