Louis Vuitton Fannie gift saga

Several police officers investigating the Louis Vuitton scandal involving General Fannie Masemola were allegedly promised promotions in exchange for ending the investigation.

Email that is seen by City press suggesting the police officer would be offered a higher position in the SAPS in exchange for ending the investigation.

The investigation could end the careers of Masemola and other senior police officers.

The front is cold

South Africa is bracing itself for severe weather conditions on Monday, February 20.

According to the South African Weather Service (Saws), heavy rain, strong winds, rough seas and a cold front are approaching in several provinces.

According to the forecast, residents in some provinces are advised to take the necessary precautions to ensure safety and protect their properties from bad weather conditions.

Flood victims are to blame

Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane says many communities are putting themselves at risk because they live in low-lying areas and are too close to rivers and dams.

This exposes them to floods and can cause loss of life and property. The Prime Minister then stated that some residents violated the spatial laws governing land management.

This makes them more vulnerable to the effects of floods, which have devastated many people.

Israel was expelled from the 36th AU summit

Sharon Bar-li, the deputy director general of the foreign ministry for Africa in Israel, was expelled from the African Union (AU) summit in Ethiopia.

The move was welcomed by the African National Congress (ANC) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).

On Saturday, Bar-li was escorted out of the AU assembly. Israel has accused Algeria and South Africa of helping Iran orchestrate the movement.
