Grisham, during an interview with CNN’s Jim Acosta, weighed in on the news outlet after the surprising revelations about the stars of the network that appeared in documents from the $1.6 billion lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems.
The former press secretary, after Acosta spoke of a “hand in glove” working relationship between the two parties, said Fox News stars such as Judge Jeanine Pirro, Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson would call her at the White House.
“If I don’t get back to him right away, he’s going to call the president and then I’m going to talk to him for not talking to him,” Grisham said.
He later recalled the town hall event and said he immediately spoke with Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott who wanted to “make sure it was full” at the venue.
“We work with them and that’s at the direction of the president. If they don’t like it, we call Fox right away and ask them to fix it or try to come up with a new story, etc.
