The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Olanrewaju Fagbohunwill present the 12th convocation lecture of Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State.
Mr. Fagbohun, Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), will speak on the topic: “The Nigerian University System: Between Public Expectations and Individual Expectations in the 21st Century.”
The scholar said he was happy to return to the Osun State capital more than a year after delivering the 10th convocation lecture at the Osun State University (UNIOSUN).

According to Mr. Fagbohun, the lecture indicated by the chosen topic will examine the public expectations of Nigerian universities as a sanctuary of hope and why individual expectations should meet the public desire for good.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Amidu Sanni, during a recent briefing before the ceremony, said the convocation lecture will be presided over by the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
An honor to a distinguished Nigerian
Meanwhile, some prominent Nigerians were billed for awards during the convocation ceremony. They include the Chief of Air Staff, Isiaka Amao; Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State; former Chief of Naval Staff and Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council, Jubrila Ayinla, among others.
