Honor your lost love. Allison Holker frequently paid tribute to her late husband, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, after his death in December 2022.
“To my husband, best friend, babe, Chee-chalker, Superman and father of my children, I LOVE YOU FOREVER and ALWAYS!” Holker wrote via Instagram in January 2023 along with a slideshow of images from the late dancer’s life. “We will always remember you as the beacon that you truly were and we will continue to shine your light and love around the world. Thank you for the wonderful memories and the wonderful life we shared together.
The post, featuring tWitch, Holker and their three children – son Maddox and daughters Weslie and Zaia – features sweet images of some of the choreographer’s greatest moments, including his 2013 proposal to Minnesota native and born of children. (tWitch also adopted Weslie, her husband’s son from a previous relationship.)
Holker confirmed the death of his wife in a statement a day after his passing. tWitch, who was 40 years old at the time of his death, committed suicide in a hotel in Los Angeles in December 2022.

He values family, friends and community above all and leads with love and light as everything to him. He is the backbone of his family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.

Holker and so on The Ellen DeGeneres Show alum tied the knot in 2013 after meeting in season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance three years before. At Magic Mike XXL the actor said Dance Soul magazine in August 2012 that the lovebirds first crossed paths during season 2 of the dance competition series in 2006, but Holker did not remember meeting her.
However, four years later, Holker couldn’t identify the Alabama native. “From the first week SYTYCD as All-Stars, I thought he was the cutest person ever,” he told the outlet at the time. “His personality is really fun.”

The two of them greeted each other children in 2016 and 2019. Days after Holker gave birth to Zaia, she and her husband returned to share a video of their signature morning dance through social media.
“A lot of people ask, ‘How? How can you do that?’ To be honest, I am a dancer. It is part of my life,” he said Footloose special actress shared with Us Weekly in March 2020, explaining why he returned to his routine so quickly. “People wake up, take a bath. I woke up, I showered and danced. It helped me so much through the whole thing [pregnancy] process, and this keeps me sane.
When they are not busy posting videos of the choreography, the dancers often take to social media to spread their love for each other.
“It’s my 9th birthday!! I couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate this perfect magical day!!!” ex Dance With The Stars pro wrote via Instagram in December 2022, just a few days before tWitch died. “Saying YES to @sir_twitch_alot has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life!! Remembering His Legacy
Holker confirmed tWitch’s death by suicide in a heartbreaking statement in December 2022.

He continued, “To say that he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive influence will continue to be felt. I am sure that there will never be a day that we will not honor his memory,” he said in his continued. “We ask for privacy during this difficult time for me and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”

After taking time to mourn, Holker made her return to social media later that month, sharing selfies and tWitch via Instagram. “My ONLY ONE Oh my heart hurts. I miss you so much,” the house alum captioned the post.
