Everton have sacked Frank Lampard following the Toffees’ Premier League defeat to West Ham this weekend.
Lampard’s side lost 2-0 to the Hammers at the London Stadium, in a contest dubbed ‘El Sackico’. The result left Everton swimming in the Premier League relegation zone, two points away from safety, and the club’s inactive board took the decision to give Lampard his order, as confirmed by the Daily Mail on Monday.

Former Wolves and Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who is currently in charge of Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, is among those considered to replace Lampard. Sean Dyche, out of work since leaving Burnley at the end of last season, is also tipped to take over at Goodison Park.
