Even atheists will be saying, ‘Thank God,’ when Trump loses. His level of flip-flops on abortion and Project 2025 are blatantly weird and render him unfit for office.

Trump’s constant flipping on the abortion issue is proof that any position he holds is based on getting votes or mooching money. He brags about being responsible for overturning Roe V Wade. He professes that everyone wanted abortion rights to be given to the states. That’s a lie. Does he think women are stupid? He hand-picked religious fantatic justices who lied under oath during their confirmation hearings saying they believed Roe was set law. Trump knew many states would ban abortions despite a woman’s medical need or pregnancies resulting from rape or incest. He also said in an interview that there had to be punishment for women who obtain an abortion. However, the backlash from his base when he softens his cruel stance on women’s reproductive freedoms has caused him to flip and lie on his position. Examples of flips:

- “I have no idea who is behind it.”
- At least 140 former members of the Trump Administration worked on project 2025.
- Six of his former Cabinet secretaries helped write or collaborated on the 900-page playbook for a second Trump term
- Four individuals Trump nominated as ambassadors were also involved.
- Several enforcers of his controversial immigration crackdown and about 20 pages are credited to his first deputy chief of staff.
- His former chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and longtime adviser Stephen Miller hold positions with conservative groups advising Project 2025.
- “They’re going to lay the groundwork and detailed plans for exactly what our movement will do and what your movement will do.” ( The New Republic, July 11, 2025).

- In 1999, Trump was a pro- choice Democrat
- Publically disagreeing with the Florida Amendment 4 that places a six- week ban on abortions, saying “It’s too strict. You need more time”, then after a conservative backlash, admitted he doesn’t disagree enough to not vote for it. He now is saying that he will vote NO.
- At one time he said he opossed a national abortion ban, then said he believed in it
- This week he defended his flip flip by saying because “radical democrats support abortions at nine months”, he will vote for the Florida ban.
- As President, Trump called for a federal ban on abortions past 20 weeks. Now he is saying as president he would not support a national abortion ban under any circumstances.
TRUMP’S STANCE ON ABORTION CHANGES BASED ON PRESSURE FROM HIS BASE, DONORS, AND TRYING TO WIN WHITE, INDEPENDENT WOMEN VOTERS. THE PROBLEM WITH THAT STRATEGY: WOMEN ARE TOO SMART TO TRUST A FLIP-FLOPPER.
