Evangeline revealed that he was filming with Basic instincts stars and Michelle Pfeiffer, who played his parents in the film series, when he commented on what “GILFs” the two are. Unfortunately it was not a good time… He said:
“There was today on set, we were doing a scene in a restaurant and we were in a waiting room, so they filmed it in the waiting room with extras and there were kids.”
He forgot about all the kids around him when he saw his movie star parents:
“I turned to Michael and Michelle and I said, ‘You know, you’re real GILFs.’
Unfortunately, these comments only lead to more comments – too many in fact, considering the company!
“Michael didn’t understand. He said, ‘What’s a GILF?’ Instead of being cool, in front of a room full of kids I go, ‘This is the grandpa I want.’
I mean, he’s not wrong… But maybe he’ll think twice before just saying it because…
“And then immediately realized that I had told Michael Douglas that I wanted to chase him, which is not something you should say in front of kids, oops!”
Not to mention for married people! He was lucky Catherine Zeta-Jones doesn’t have any super powers – beyond all that doesn’t age, like Paul Rudd!
What’s the worst thing you’ve accidentally said to a coworker? Or in a room full of kids? Or for married people??
