Eva Longoria EXCORIATED By Young And The Restless Co-Star After Shading Soaps!

Eva Longoria heard from the former soap star about her comments when she sat down for an interview with the television host Chris Wallace!

At Desperate Housewives alum is at Wallace HBO Max-sideways-CNN interview series Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace this week. He is involved in his work on camera, along with his role as a political ambassador and Democratic surrogate for many shows.

But he also talked about his early career in El Lay, and what he had to do in Hollywood. And that’s where Eva stumbled BADLY – at least according to one of her exes Young and Restless co-star!

So, for a short time early in her on-air career, Eva played Isabella Braña in the long-running daytime TV drama. He was in more than 300 popular episodes CBS shows over three years from 2001 through 2003, respectively IMDb. Then, he left for greener pastures – the most famous Desperate Housewivescourse – and a long career enjoying Tinseltown’s bright spotlight!

Wallace asked Longoria about his early career moments while sitting down. Eva revealed how she worked a full-time office job on set while she filmed scenes for the film. Young and Restless:

“When I moved to Hollywood, I had a bachelor’s degree. And when I told my mom, ‘I’m going to be an actress,’ she was fine, because I had already graduated from college. Like, as long as I had finished college. So, I knew I could get a job. I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll get a job.’ I went to a temp agency and they hired me. I was good at it, that’s when I got it Young and Restless, it doesn’t pay enough for me to live off being an actor. So I continued to be a headhunter and [filming] at Young and Restless.”

That is praised. It takes some serious drive to do that!!

But it’s what he said next – a comment that honestly​​​​​​​​​​clearly describes the main soap opera – that angered some people:

“I will hide the fact that I am in Young and Restless for my clients, because they don’t want, like, silent actress to handle their account. One time, one of my clients was like, ‘you look like the girl I see on the soap.’ And I was like, ‘no, that’s not me, I don’t know who that is.’ I’m like the opposite of a publicist’s dream. I was like, ‘don’t tell anyone I’m on the show.’ Because I still make more money at my job.

Uh oh! It’s not good to bite the hand that feeds you, as he said. After all, it is already one of the places where the long-time A-lister first got his start in Hollywood. Do you understand??

There, the veteran daytime drama star Eric Braden comes to Braeden known by soap opera fans worldwide to play Victor Newman Young and Restless. And when he caught Longoria’s comments this weekend, he took it Twitter on Sunday afternoon to tear him a new one.

He started by tweeting:

“EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory comments about daytime actors! You are just not good enough to survive this media pressure! You are very lucky to get on that “Housewives” show! You do one show in 8-12 days, with the dialogue is ordinary but not rude! our actress sould run rings around you!! And then they do!! From Robert di Nero [sic] for anyone, many of them started in the medium you denigrate! It shows a complete lack of class!!”

wow!

Then, when a follower asked for more acting context, he added:

“They [soap opera actresses] action rings around him! They only stay if the [sic] have the chops to back it up! He only has the last one!”

oh!!!

Later, when another follower asked if Eva should apologize for her comments to Chris Wallace, Braeden clarified her comments:

“He doesn’t need to apologize! I just reacted to hearing this while watching CNN and CHRIS WALLACE, whom I respect! But if the soap opera disrespects anyone, I will go after them! This is the hardest medium for actors, PERIOD!!! Don’t be arrogant!!!”

Say what you will about Eva’s comments, but at least she stood her ground and didn’t back down when she was called out by her Twitter followers. understand? But still… jeez, man!
