Erika Jayne in response to the estranged husband Thomas Girardi‘s new charges while out in Los Angeles on Friday.

After the disbarred lawyer was charged with wire fraud after reportedly stealing $18 million from former clients, including relatives of victims of the Lion Air plane crash, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was seen leaving Burbank Town Center, where he answered questions about Thomas’ legal drama.

“Did you hear about Tom Girardi being charged with wire fraud?” a Daily Mail photographer asked Erika as she walked to her car on February 1.

“Me,” answered Erika, who was wearing a sweatsuit and blue Alexander Wang sunglasses.

“He faces a year in prison, 20 years I heard, do you … What is your reaction,” continued the photographer.

But the RHOBA cast members are not ready to share and say to people, “You know, I have something, but not now. You will hear from me soon,” before confirming that he is not worried about his own situation.

As the man continued, asking if he felt Thomas “deserved to be prosecuted,” Erika said.

“Didn’t you hear what I told you five seconds ago – if I’m going to talk, I’m going to talk to you?” he asked.

As RHOBA fans have also heard, Thomas was charged in both Chicago and LA after being accused of stealing $3 million from relatives of plane crash victims and $15 million from other past clients. However, given the Alzheimer’s diagnosis he received in early 2021, it is unclear whether he will be considered fit for trial.

According to the report, Thomas, who now resides in a memory care facility in Orange County, is believed to have embezzled funds to pay American Express bills and country club memberships, and he faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

In addition to Thomas’ indictment earlier this week, his son-in-law, David Liraalso charged in Chicago, when the former chief financial officer (CFO), Christopher Kamoncharged with Thomas in LA

While Thomas faces new charges, Erika continues to fight a $25 million lawsuit from Thomas’ bankruptcy trustee, as well as several other lawsuits related to Thomas’ fraud crimes.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production later this month.
