Erika Jayne struggles through the “dark” era of 2022 as he faces several lawsuits and accusations related to his estranged wife. Thomas Girardiillegal business transactions. But one year later, the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star feeling “lighter” and “stronger” as he prepares for his upcoming residency in Las Vegas.
When she traveled to Sin City to announce the exciting news, telling fans that she had been “a dream come true” for months, Erika, who looked slimmer than usual, revealed how far she has come since hitting a turning point in her life. I don’t want to “be on the planet”.
“Text me for tix!” Erika captioned the April 20 post, which featured a Boomerang clip of her flaunting her slim frame in front of a banner that read, “Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde.”
After the post, Erika was greeted with comments from fans, some of whom appreciated her physique and others who suspected her of taking Ozempic.
“Oh. me. GAWD. Could you look any more amazing?! You look AMAZING, Erika! The comeback QUEEN,” one person wrote.
“Ok you drop some [pounds] what are you doing?” ask another.
But the third asked, “Are all housewives in Ozempic?”
“Ok Ozempic is working,” added another.
As Erika prepares to begin her residency in August, she has been promoting her upcoming event. And, in a recent interview, he looked back on the “heavy” he went through in 2022.
“There was a point where I didn’t want to wake up,” Erika admitted to Us Weekly on April 20.
Although Erika has good reason to feel down, especially after Thomas’ bankruptcy trustee filed a $25 million lawsuit against him, he decided to ask for help, both from professionals and friends and family.
“Therapists, psychiatrists, friends, and family really helped me,” she said. “It’s important to have people around you who really look out for you. Because it’s very bad, very dark for a while.
“It feels like an age ago because now it’s a lighter tone, and it’s comfortable,” he continued. “It was very heavy and very dark, and I didn’t want to go back there, but I think that life is what you do, so I moved on, and I became stronger because of it.”
Through her ordeal, Erika said she realized she was “the tough one.”
Looking forward to her Las Vegas residency, “Bet It All on Blonde”, which will be hosted at the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Erika is grateful.
“It’s like a dream come true, especially when you consider everything that’s happened in the last few years,” she said. “I wake up every day excited about life, and this is where I’m happiest. So, it feels really good.”
While Erika’s residency marks the start of a “new era” for her, she says the show’s stylings will mark her “grassroots” background.
“I’m recording new material, so I’m actually the happiest,” Erika teased. “We all lost, but you have to get back up and keep going, and I think that’s the most important thing.”
“I think in life, you have to roll the dice and bet on yourself,” he added. “And I always roll the dice, and I handle everything. I think it’s just a good way to live.
Pre-sale tickets are available now through Ticketmaster, with sales to the general public beginning April 24.
