Steve Borthwick has named Owen Farrell and Marcus Smith in his squad for the Six Nations, with Billy Vunipola, Jack Nowell and Jonny May missing.
The Six Nations marked the start of the Steve Borthwick era with the former Leicester boss replacing the sacked Eddie Jones as head coach.
England begin their Six Nations campaign at home to Scotland on Saturday 4 February, before returning to Twickenham the following weekend to take on Italy (Sunday 12 February).
Borthwick’s side then visit Wales (Saturday 25 February) and host France (Saturday 11 March) before completing the competition with a trip to Ireland (Saturday 18 March).
