EMTAG held its 2nd Quadrennial delegate conference
The Association of Emergency Medical Technicians of Ghana (EMTAG) in the National Ambulance Service has held its 2nd quadrennial delegates conference.
The conference which was held at the GNAT Hall in Ejisu-Kumasi was themed “Uniting forward to improve the welfare of EMTs amidst the current economic challenges”.

Speaking to the press, the Chief Executive Officer for the service, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zachariah advised the EMTs to continue to devote themselves to their work and assured them that the current scheme of work for the service is attracting the interest of all.
“The uniqueness of the work scheme of the National Ambulance Service is that everyone can be arrested, if you find yourself in the service you are not harmed, you will be promoted. I encourage you all to continue your hard work and dedication,” he said
The Principal of Advance EMT, Micheal Gaani who has been elected as the National President for the second time also called on the Council and Management of the National Ambulance service to continue to support the association to help resolve issues affecting EMT.

“The support of the Board and the management that we have received over the years is something that is needed and not only from our side. They also need the support of EMTAG to be able to provide solutions to the challenges that EMT is facing”.
The Association of Emergency Medical Technicians of Ghana is dedicated to the promotion of EMS in Ghana through advocacy, education and research, it was re-established five (5) years ago.
