Emily Ratajkowski had some thoughts after the old interview with Taylor Swift of The Ellen DeGeneres Show continue to go viral TikTok this week!
In case you didn’t know, the 33-year-old singer appeared on the daytime talk show in 2012, and hosted it. Ellen DeGeneres presented her with a slide show of famous people – such as Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautnerand Rob Lowe – they are rumored to be dating. When the comedian told Taylor to ring everyone’s bell she came across one of the guys she dated, the Lavender Haze the artist looked uncomfortable and asked him to end the segment, saying:
“I don’t know if I’m going to do this. I don’t want to. I don’t want to. He’s going to send me angry emails, and I don’t want to ask for it.
But Ellen persisted. After several people flashed across the screen, Taylor finally fired back at it Finding Nemo star. He stated at the time:
“Stop, stop, stop! This makes me feel really bad. Every time I come here, you put a different guy on the screen, and it just makes me question what I want as a human being.

This is a great interview moment – and we’re not the only ones who think so! When a TikTok user posted an interview on social media and it went viral, EmRata called out Ellen in the comments section. The 31-year-old model wrote:
“This is a very bad thing. He actually begged her to stop”
Years later, Tay talked about how people would reduce his career to that he dated in an interview with Zane Lowe. While the actor never mentioned Ellen by name, many fans believe he was referring to a 2012 interview. Taylor said:
“When I was 23 years old, people just reduced me – made a slide show of my girlfriend’s life and put people in it that I was sitting next to at a party and decided that writing my songs was like a trick. Instead of skills and work. This is a way to take women who do the work and succeed in doing the work and making things, and, by the way, is to find out how to reduce these skills.
