Edem’s photo flyer has been trending on social media as fans speculate that the rapper will announce his intention to become an MP on the NDC ticket.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to hold presidential and parliamentary elections on Saturday, May 13, 2023, to elect a flag bearer and parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections.
According to the schedule described by the party on Wednesday, January 18, interested individuals are asked to pick up nomination forms from the party’s website or headquarters.
Nomination submissions will take place between Wednesday, February 22nd and Friday, February 24th. Submission and submission of forms will also take place from Monday, March 20, 2023, to Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
Edem is the latest of several Ghanaian celebrities to have declared their political ambitions and joined the opposition National Democratic Congress. But it is not clear which constituency Edem can see.
This has left fans worried about Edem’s announcement tomorrow.
Earlier, rapper ‘Nyedzilo’ tweeted, actor Fred Nuamah also chose his form for the NDC Awayaso West Wuogon primary contest. Former Musik 3 Boss, Sadiq Abdulai Abu has also announced his intention to contest for the Okaikoi Central seat.
