Eddie Murphy Quotes Will Smith Slap Moment in Golden Globe Speech

He went there! As Eddie Murphy honored with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, he said Will Smith‘s now-famous Oscar slap.

The Cecil B. DeMille Award is a special Golden Globe, given to one recipient during the show. DeMille Award will be presented. No awards were named during the 2022 awards show as celebrities, media and industry executives boycotted the Golden Globes over concerns about diversity and the HFPA’s accountability.
