The Director of Local Government Services in the Office of the President, Dennis Miracles Aboagye said critics should leave the new appointees to the Electoral Commission alone and focus on how to win the election at the polling stations.
Commenting on the new additions to the Commission in the person of Rev. Akua Ofori Boateng, Salima Armed Tijani and Dr. Peter Appiahene, Dennis Miracles slammed the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for labeling them as NPP officials appointed to do the bidding of organizing the New Patriotic Party.
“How many Electoral Commissions do we have? Can they go to all 38,000 TPS?”, he asked.
He said that the Commissioner could not steal his vote and asked the opposition parties to train the polling agents to apply intelligence, not fight while collecting the numbers in the election.
“In today’s electoral process, intelligence is more important than muscle. If you prioritize muscle over intelligence, you will lose the election not because [of] certain General Election Commission,” he suggested.
