His No. 1 fan. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen is sick know boyfriend Bryonna Rivera Burrows will be rooting for him in Super Bowl LVII.
The two have kept their relationship private, with no Instagram awards or red carpet events. However, Burrows was always by his man’s side to celebrate the victory in the NFC Championship game. He took the field to cheer with football stars after the Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 on January 29, clinching a spot in the 2023 Super Bowl.
Burrows was seen wearing sunglasses with a camel leather jacket with a matching scarf and a leather top and black trousers. Hurts presented his new cover, which proclaimed the Eagles as the 2023 NFC champions. The February 12 event marked Hurts’ first Super Bowl appearance after joining the league in 2020.
The big game, however, is always in Hurts’ sights. “I always want to be the best, you know what I’m saying?” athletes explained on Saturday, February 2, press conference. “Become [a] Super Bowl in the list to be the best, so that kind always fell in line [with my goals].”
Meanwhile, Burrows’ goals seem to be very much focused on business. The University of Alabama alum has a Master’s degree in business administration and is a member of several honor societies. He even made the Dean’s List when he was at the school. The business professional has worked for IBM for several years, and Hurts has made it clear that she supports black women carving a path for themselves in various areas of the workforce.
His agent, Nicole Lynnwas the first Black woman to represent the starting quarterback in the Super Bowl.
“Being an African American woman, it’s a lot of different things you have to do. Do it in any field, let alone a male-dominated field and be an agent in football and sports,” Hurts said in NFL video earlier this month. “It’s hard, but nothing is impossible. That’s why we are [working] together, because we both have that mentality. We both have an approach to everything we do.
While fans expect Burrows to join Lynn in watching Hurts and the Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, February 12 in Phoenix, Arizona, the midfielder emphasized that the focus is what is happening on the field.
“I think you just have to focus on everything that’s in front of you and stick to the main thing [as] the main thing,” Hurts told reporters at a press conference Feb. 2. “There’s a lot of distractions all the time and I think this year, if you’re lucky enough to make it to this point, it’s getting bigger. So I hope everyone can stay focused on the task at hand. Enjoy the moment, embrace the moment – but also stay focused on what’s important.
