The first week of Big Brother Titans saw some twists, turns, love-up couples and breakups end off with a surprise announcement by the hosts of the advanced competition.
Audience from Big Brother Titans has seen brand-new contestants from Nigeria and South Africa, a combination of Big Brother Mzansi and Brother Naija.
However, in week one, new housemates were introduced to the mix, which included Blue Aiva and Theo Traw from South Africa, and Sandra and Miracle from Nigeria.
These new housemates have heated up because there is US $ 100 000 (about R1.7 million) up for grabs.
It’s been a week of game plans, pool parties, some plays, and dances. Hosts Lawrence Maleka and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosted the live show on Sunday.
There are no evictions
It is expected that the housemate will be eliminated from Big Brother Titans house, but there is some reprieve for the contestants because there are no evictions this week.
Residents should nominate people who they feel should be evicted. During the live show, nine of them were nominated, an eye-opening moment for the contestants.
Lawrence posed some questions to some of them Big Brother Titans housemates such as Justin, who has been quiet during the competition. Many viewers complained that he did not add anything to the show.
Justin replied that he was happy to watch and observe, but Ebuka was not impressed and said, “I don’t know if ‘standing and observing’ works in an event like this, but good luck.”
Jenni O has used her cooking skills to impress her competitors and Ebuka wonders why she did it. He replied: “I just love to cook. After you feed people, they are happy. The kitchen is also where you hear everything. I like to hear things.”
The host hinted that there would be a twist to come, but didn’t reveal anything.
It took an interesting turn on Saturday morning when there was an altercation between some women which included Sandra, Olivia and Yvonne.
Olivia looked aggravated that her housemates did not take her seriously and Sandra was her antagonist. Many housemates have to hold the two ladies back to avoid a physical altercation.
