You may want to sit down for this news, but, as surprising as it sounds, Donald Trump may be guilty of lying.
Even worse: He told this lie paragon of truthiness, Tucker Carlson during the show on Fox News.
“They entered me, and I’ll tell you, people were crying, people who work there, professionals work there, who have no problem putting a killer in, and they see everybody,” he told Carlson. “It’s a tough, tough place, and they’re crying. They’re even crying. They’re saying, ‘I’m sorry.'”
Although Trump likes to claim that people can’t cry in his presence, especially “difficult people” who are supposed to never cry until they do win when you meet him, there is reason to be skeptical about this story.
The source gave a similar percentage of what they claimed was the level of truth in Trump’s comments to Carlson.
“There was zero crying. No one said ‘I’m sorry,'” the source said.
The source told Yahoo! that apart from lawyers and Secret Service agents, Trump only interacted with some employees of the district attorney’s office in the courthouse today and exposure to others “very limited” last Tuesday.
Trump reportedly looked glum at the arrest and said little throughout the proceedings.
There was a slight hiccup when Trump was fingerprinted. Apparently, his fingers were so dry that the court clerk gave him lotion.
