Donald Trump Jr. repeated a vicious attack on Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland on Friday.
The eldest son of former President Donald Trump again described Fetterman as a “vegetable”, echoing the terrible comments he made to the right-wing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) during the February episode of his podcast.
After a stroke last year, Fetterman developed an auditory processing disorder. He is currently in hospital receiving treatment for clinical depression.
For the CPAC audience, Trump Jr. denied the accusation that he could – and then collapsed further when he suggested:
“I like that John Fetterman has a good job. Maybe he can be like a bag guy like a grocery store or … but like, is it unreasonable for me to expect, as a citizen of the United States, to have a United States senator have basic cognitive functions?
Someone in the auditorium shouted: “Look at the president.”
“Well, you make a solid point, sir,” the Trump scion replied. “Why should the senators of the United States be held to a different standard than the president of the United States himself? So we have to fix everything. Right?”
