Well, as you may have heard by now, Donald Trump is likely to be arrested this week over allegations that he paid adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.
But it seems that the possibility of walking perp does not interfere with the ability of 45 to party!
According to a new report from Page Six, Trump has returned to his favorite pastime this week:
Apparently, they had DJ’d the dance party at the Mar-a-Lago social club!
According to one witness, Trump spent Tuesday “surrounded by supporters, pumping fists and giving thumbs up.”
Now, that’s probably how Trump spends most of his nights, but it’s strange that he’s in such high spirits on Tuesday, the day he’s predicted to be arrested.
“He had a political dinner with five friends without Melania. . . Donald was in a serious conversation with what looked like a political adviser,” said one of Donnie’s watchers that night.
After the meal, the former prez went to the turntables, where he entertained the guests with a strange medley.
“Trump couldn’t stop smiling when he played ‘Maria’ from West Side Story, the theme from Phantom of the Opera and the ‘Hallelujah’ chorus that had people scratching their heads as to what it meant,” the source said.
Maybe Trump is saying that the country is divided into Republicans and Democrats like warring gangs West Side Storyand he feels like a pariah like the titular character in the Phantombut he ends each day with a prayer in the hope that our nation will recover.
Or he keeps getting bored and making up new songs because he has the attention span of a drunk kid.
Either way, it looks like Trump is still planning to be arrested before the week is out.
And of course, they hope to use the law for political gain.
An insider told Page Six that Trump’s team plans to “try and film and document it with their own camera crew, they want to shoot him in the cuffs and they’re going to release the mugshot. He loves this stuff.”
So Donald always focuses on the bright side.
And who knows, maybe the legal issues will inspire some new musical endeavors!
Frankly, Trump’s hip hop album is long overdue.
