She lost a dramatic amount of weight to wear it. He was involved with Pete Davidson. Oh, and the rich history took some damage in the process.

Kim almost got it blacklisted from this year’s gala. Even with the last-minute changes, the whole ordeal was embarrassing.
Earlier this month, an insider said Page Six that Kim Kardashian will not accept an invitation to the Met Gala.
He won’t be the only one.
Mom Kim and her siblings — meaning Kris, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie — are all set to be excluded from the memorable May 1 charity event.
As we all remember, Kim has been walking the red carpet for years. So are many of his relatives.
Reportedly, Anna Wintour is planning to scrap the guest list to make the event more exclusive.
One can only speculate as to his motives for doing so. It’s a charity event, after all.
Unbelievable, Vogue did not publicly comment on the guest list at the time.
Even then there were whispers that the list was still in process. As in, Kim can still make the cut.
Meanwhile, everything remains uncertain. Much to the continued shame of Kim and the fashion-loving family.
But now, a new insider source is talking to US Sun to clean things up.
“Anna wants to make the guest list this year,” the insider began.
“And,” the source continued, the well-known editor’s goal was “to be a more exclusive event.”
“And that’s when a lot of names are being discussed,” the insider said.
“The audience is always an ongoing conversation,” the source confirmed, “and nothing is ever set in stone.”
According to the insider, “Kim was never told she wasn’t on the list.” Of course, this may make the report alarming. They come from Page Sixwhich weighs a lot.
“While the invitation has now been officially sent and Kim has confirmed it,” the insider said.
The source revealed that “the leaked news about him may not get him an invite to see the tension behind the scenes.”
And the insider added that it caused a lot of drama “in what turned out to be a misunderstanding.”
Allegedly, all of this left Kim feeling “very unhappy” and even strained her relationship as employees rushed to clean up her ruffled feathers.
Setting the record straight, an insider close to the situation exclusively told The US Sun on Monday:
“It’s been embarrassing for everyone involved,” the insider said. “However, Kim is still excited and has worked with top fashion houses to design a special look for tonight.” We have no doubts.
