Earlier this month, Lisa Rinna announced her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Fidget? Sad? Excited? Some fans feel all three.
Obviously, there is usually a reason for these things. This can be very bad or as mundane as the Bravo bigwigs reshuffling it.
But Harry Hamlin only leaked the alleged real the reason why Lisa is no longer there RHOBA.
We will certainly investigate the possible validity of these words in a moment. But first, let’s check what he had to say.
Page Six reports that Harry Hamlin, the longtime actor and husband of Lisa Rinna, is talking to friends.
An inside source was heard saying it was the end of Lisa’s fight with Sutton Stracke over Elton John’s charity tickets.
“Lisa has all the receipts from that night,” the eavesdropper quoted Harry as saying.
“But,” he cried to the listeners, “he never showed the receipts at the reunion.”
According to Harry, IMDB provided the couple with Academy Awards Viewing Party tickets – not Sutton. And, for the record, Andy Cohen confirmed that Lisa brought the receipt … but the audience never saw it.
“He would still be on the show if Sutton didn’t say it,” the witness told Harry.
“He may still be on the show,” he said, “but the audience trusts Sutton.”
Even so, the report continues, Lisa made peace with him leaving RHOBA.
“All good things come to an end,” Harry said.
“They took it as far as they could,” he said.
“Now,” Harry noted, “I’m working like crazy so he doesn’t have to work.”
So what happened? Sutton Strarke appeared on Watch What Happens Live.
During the guest spot, he claimed that Harry and Lisa had they guest on the show, but never thanked him.
Lisa replied that she already had the ticket. However, if what Harry is saying is true, Bravo for whatever reason keeps Sutton’s story out of the question even when there is evidence to the contrary. And Lisa took the fall.
The first possibility is that the story is completely false, on purpose.
For example, Harry may have told his friends the cover story – not expecting it to be leaked to the public. Simply put, sometimes a couple will fib a little to cover their love life. (Again, the receipt is there, but that doesn’t mean the whole story)
Or, it’s possible to think that someone is creating a conversation… though Page Six usually good about ferreting out that sort of false claim.
Another possibility is that there is a genuine misunderstanding. One that proved to be both hurt and hurt.
Sometimes, people believe that they are, for example, paying for dinner when someone else is covering it. Or misremembers which gift they bought for his friend.
Just because Lisa allegedly has the receipt doesn’t mean that one or both of them can’t be at fault in some way.
But there is another possibility that no one is lying. At least when Lisa left the show.
Maybe Bravo has been working on the cast before this. In fact, it’s possible to cut receipts from Reunion because he already knows he’s not staying with Lisa – so why is Sutton humiliating?
It will be interesting to see what the show looks like without Lisa Rinna.
